Coalport cup and saucer painted in the style of  William Weston Young in grey monochrome. The saucer has the very unusual subject of Moses and the Tablets of the Ten Commandments, the cup has a woman in Welsh costume.

William Weston Young was a china decorator in Swansea, whose work can also be found on Cambrian Pottery until 1806 when he left to become a wreck salvager.
