 A Chantilly sucrier in the style of blanc de chine, with applied sprigs and flower heads and with a fruit knop
Height: 4", 10 cm.
c.1740

Ref: Aileen Dawson: French Porcelain in the British Museum, pl. 13 for a St Cloud saucer in similar style. The shapes of the st Cloud leaves are trefoil rather than spade shaped, and tend to be more raised off the surface.


Condition: The base has a crack.
